Privacy Policy

1. Who We Are

BizOnDeck is a digital marketplace and deal facilitation platform intended to help users discover, list, promote, enquire about and commercially engage in relation to businesses, business opportunities, franchises, leases, investment opportunities, assets, movable and immovable properties, and related services.

For the purpose of this policy, “Company”, “we”, “our” or “us” means the platform operator, presently proposed as Citiline Technologies Private Limited, together with its website brand BizOnDeck, unless a different operator is expressly identified on the live website.

2. Scope of this Policy

This policy applies to visitors, registered users, sellers, buyers, investors, brokers, agents, subscribers, advertisers, professional partners, vendors, and persons who communicate with us through forms, calls, WhatsApp, email, CRM, chat or any other channel connected with the platform.

This policy covers digital personal data and business-related information processed in digital form through the website and connected systems. It should be read together with the Terms & Conditions, Disclaimer, Refund Policy and any deal-specific agreement.

3. Information We Collect

We may collect identity information such as name, mobile number, email address, city, state, organisation name, designation, and communication details.

We may collect profile and verification data such as PAN, GST, CIN, LLPIN, trade licence, address proof, business proof, broker or intermediary credentials, photographs, KYC documents, and such other information as may be reasonably required for onboarding, fraud prevention, premium plan approval, dispute handling, or lawful compliance.

We may collect listing data, deal data and commercial data such as category, title, price, location, description, revenue figures shared by you, investment ask, lease details, uploaded documents, images, enquiries, negotiation stage, and transaction preferences.

We may collect technical and usage data such as IP address, browser type, device information, operating system, cookies, referral source, timestamps, pages visited, clicks, and approximate geolocation based on network metadata.

We may collect payment-related data such as billing name, billing address, invoice information, payment status, subscription history, and gateway-generated transaction identifiers. We generally do not intentionally store full card or banking instrument details unless lawfully and technically required through an authorised payment partner.

4. Sources of Data

We collect information directly from you when you fill a form, register, buy a subscription, post a listing, respond to an enquiry, upload a document, or communicate with our team.

We may collect information from authorised representatives, brokers, introducers, partners, advertisers, payment gateways, analytics providers, KYC vendors, publicly available records, and lawful government or regulatory sources, where reasonably necessary.

If you submit another person’s information, you represent that you are authorised to do so and that such submission is lawful.

5. Purposes of Processing

We may process information to create and manage accounts, publish and administer listings, verify users, provide subscriptions, route enquiries, enable communications, invoice customers, receive payments, prevent abuse, investigate fraud, moderate content, resolve disputes, and improve the user experience.

We may process data to send transactional messages, deal-related alerts, support responses, plan notices, policy updates, security notifications, and service communications.

With your consent or where otherwise lawful, we may send marketing communications, promotional offers, newsletters, event invites, and business opportunity updates. You may opt out of non-essential promotional messages.

We may process data to comply with applicable law, lawful requests, court orders, taxation and accounting requirements, internal audits, and record-retention needs.

6. Legal Basis and Consent

Where applicable, we rely on your consent, your voluntary submission of data for a specified purpose, performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps, compliance with law, prevention of fraud and misuse, and legitimate business requirements that are not overridden by your rights.

By using the platform, creating an account, posting a listing, making a payment, or voluntarily providing information, you consent to the collection and processing described in this policy to the extent permitted by applicable law.

You may withdraw consent for certain non-essential processing by contacting us, subject to legal, technical, contractual and platform-operational limitations.

7. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We may use cookies, pixels, tags, local storage and similar technologies for login persistence, analytics, security, fraud prevention, remembering preferences, conversion tracking, and traffic measurement.

You may modify browser settings to block or delete cookies; however, certain parts of the platform may not function properly if you do so.

8. Disclosure and Sharing

We may share information with employees, affiliates, consultants, technology providers, payment processors, hosting providers, communication vendors, KYC or verification vendors, professional advisors, auditors, insurers, debt or fraud investigators, and service partners strictly on a need-to-know basis.

We may disclose information to buyers, sellers, brokers, investors, or professional counterparties when such disclosure is reasonably necessary to process an enquiry, progress a deal, verify authenticity, or provide a requested service, subject to confidentiality controls we consider appropriate.

We may disclose information where required by law, court order, lawful governmental direction, regulatory requirement, law-enforcement request, or to protect rights, property, safety, platform integrity, or users from fraud, misrepresentation, cyber abuse, or unlawful activity.

In the event of merger, acquisition, restructuring, sale of business, insolvency, asset transfer, or corporate reorganisation, data may be transferred subject to applicable law and continuing confidentiality obligations.

9. Data Retention

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the stated purpose, contractual administration, platform operations, fraud control, evidence preservation, taxation, accounting, audit, dispute resolution, or legal compliance.

Even after account closure, we may retain certain logs, invoices, communication records, KYC evidence, complaint files, and transaction records for lawful or defensible business purposes.

10. Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organisational safeguards such as controlled access, passwords, HTTPS/SSL, audit trails, limited role-based access, backups, vendor controls, and such other security measures as are commercially appropriate.

No website or transmission system is absolutely secure. Accordingly, while we use reasonable safeguards, we do not guarantee absolute security against every cyber incident, unauthorised access, or third-party breach.

11. User Rights and Choices

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to your personal data, correction of inaccurate or incomplete data, updating of profile details, deletion of data that is no longer necessary, withdrawal of consent where consent is the basis, grievance redressal, and information about how to contact us for privacy concerns.

We may require identity verification before acting on a request. We may also decline, limit, or defer requests where permitted by law, where data must be retained for legal reasons, or where another person’s rights may be affected.

12. Children

The platform is intended for adults and lawful business users. Persons not competent to contract under applicable law should not use paid or transactional features except through a duly authorised guardian, representative or legal entity.

13. Cross-Border Processing

Where our vendors, infrastructure, affiliates or professional partners process data outside your state or outside India, such transfer may occur subject to applicable legal restrictions, reasonable safeguards, and operational necessity.

By using the platform, you acknowledge that data may be processed in locations where our service providers operate, subject to lawful controls.

14. Third-Party Links and Integrations

The platform may contain links to third-party websites, payment pages, maps, communication services, CRM tools, embedded videos, or advertisements. We are not responsible for the privacy practices, content, accuracy, uptime, or policies of third parties.

You should independently review third-party privacy terms before using such services.

15. Grievance and Contact

For privacy-related complaints, corrections, withdrawal requests, or support, users may contact the designated grievance or support channel published on the website. The live website should display the operator’s email address, contact number, postal address, and grievance escalation details.

16. Policy Updates
